Yes — all Expandify homes require formal council approval prior to installation. These are permanent dwellings and are not transportable or relocatable once installed.

Approval is achieved through one of the following pathways:

• Complying Development Certificate (CDC): Preferred fast-tracked option where eligible
• Development Application (DA): Required when overlays or local planning policies prevent CDC use

Expandify manages council approval under the Complete Package and provides all required documentation for DIY customers to submit via their own private certifier.
