Yes — but additional documentation and design requirements will apply. Expandify homes can be installed on flood-affected or bushfire-prone sites if approved by council and compliant with overlay-specific regulations.
If your site is affected by:
- Bushfire (BAL) overlay: Requires BAL assessment and upgrade to flame-retardant materials if rated BAL 12.5 or above
- Flood zone: Requires a Flood Risk Report, raised footing design, and possible DA submission
These overlay reports are not included in the base $5,000 Site Assessment fee. They are quoted separately after your Preliminary Site Feasibility Check (Prelim) if your site is flagged for additional review.
Expandify will coordinate these reports and advise whether your preferred model is suitable for construction on an affected lot.
