Energy efficiency is assessed through a NatHERS energy report, which calculates the expected energy use of your home based on climate zone, layout, materials, and window design.
The assessment includes:
- Wall, floor, and ceiling insulation performance
- Window placement, size, and double glazing
- Dwelling orientation and shading
- Roof colour and ventilation
- Sealing of doors and openings
- Natural lighting and thermal mass
All Expandify homes are engineered to meet a minimum 7-star energy rating, and the report is completed by a qualified energy assessor before certification. It is a mandatory part of the NCC approval process.
Expandify includes the energy report in the report pack for all Complete Package projects.
