Yes — Expandify homes are fully compliant with BASIX where applicable.
For homes built in New South Wales, a BASIX certificate is included as part of the Complying Development Certificate (CDC) submission. This forms part of the required documentation for approval in NSW and confirms that your home meets water, energy, and thermal performance standards.
The BASIX compliance is built into the home’s energy efficiency rating (7-star) and includes insulation, wall systems, and window performance. No additional upgrades or modifications are required to meet BASIX.
For other states and territories, BASIX is not applicable, but equivalent energy compliance standards are met under the National Construction Code (NCC).
