Yes — Expandify homes can be installed on battle-axe blocks, provided that access requirements and setback rules are satisfied.
We assess every site on a case-by-case basis, including:
- Vehicle and crane access through the shared driveway or easement
- Available turning radius for delivery trucks
- Required clearance width (minimum 3.5m wide) and gradient (maximum 250mm rise every 5m)
While many battle-axe blocks are suitable, some may require crane lift-over from neighbouring properties or special manoeuvring equipment. These details are investigated during your Prelim and confirmed during the Site Assessment.
Council regulations for building placement may also vary for battle-axe sites — for example, private open space requirements or privacy rules may apply. Our planning team will advise on any constraints identified during review.
If you're unsure about your access, we recommend submitting a free enquiry or proceeding with the $5,000 Site Assessment to get a formal layout and access review.
