Yes — if you prefer to engage your own surveyor, Expandify can accommodate this. However, it’s essential that the scope of work is agreed upon beforehand.

Your chosen surveyor must provide:

  • A full feature and contour survey (showing boundaries, levels, trees, and existing structures)
  • A DWG file version for drafting purposes
  • Accurate RLs (reduced levels) referenced to a permanent benchmark

In this case, Expandify will deduct the survey portion of the Site Assessment fee from your total, but will still coordinate the remainder of the assessment including:

  • Aerial overlays and building placement
  • Site layout mapping
  • Trade service reviews

Using your own surveyor may result in slightly longer timelines depending on how quickly their data is submitted. All survey data must meet our engineering and drafting requirements for use in final drawings.
