Yes — Expandify homes are designed to meet CDC (Complying Development Certificate) approval criteria in most cases.
Whether your project qualifies for CDC depends on local planning overlays, bushfire zones, flooding, heritage restrictions, and other factors assessed during your Site Assessment and Prelim report.
In general:
- If your site is zoned appropriately and meets setback, access, and overlay criteria, CDC is possible.
- If overlays or specific council rules apply, a DA (Development Approval) may be required instead.
Expandify provides guidance on this during the Prelim process and recommends the most suitable approval pathway based on your individual site.
