If your project does not qualify for a Complying Development Certificate (CDC), it will require a Development Application (DA) through your local council.

Expandify offers full coordination of the DA process, acting as a single point of contact to simplify what is typically a lengthy and technical procedure. Our service includes:

  • Engaging and liaising with a qualified, third-party town planner who understands your council’s specific requirements
  • Supplying all required house plans, floorplans, elevations, engineering drawings, and specifications for DA submission
  • Coordinating any necessary supporting documents such as BAL (Bushfire Attack Level), acoustic, arborist, or flood reports
  • Assisting with form submissions, tracking council timelines, and facilitating resubmissions if requested

The DA process is not part of the standard package and is quoted separately. Customers are responsible for covering the external town planner’s fee, any specialist reports, and the council’s submission charges. These costs are passed on directly without markup.

DA coordination is available to both DIY Kit and Complete Package customers if required.
