Do I need a soil test before buying a DIY Kit?

No separate soil test is needed before your DIY purchase. However, a soil test is included in Expandify's $5,000 Site Assessment.
This assessment is required for all DIY Kit purchases and includes:
Soil classification for footing engineering
Remote access review and site access planning
Crane assessment and slope review
Council pathway evaluation (CDC or DA)
Once the soil test is complete, our engineering team will issue final subfloor design and footing specifications. You do not need to obtain your own test unless your council requires a second independent assessment.
