Yes — Expandify can deliver to sites located on:
- Unsealed private roads
- Farm tracks or bushland driveways
- Remote rural blocks
There is no fixed limit to how remote a site can be. However:
- All delivery roads must be safe and accessible for heavy trucks and cranes
- Property owners may need to upgrade or clear road access in advance
- Site delivery beyond 100km from the port is charged at an additional per-kilometre rate
All access conditions are reviewed as part of the $5,000 Site Assessment and final installation plan.
Is a geotechnical soil test required before footing engineering?
Yes — a geotechnical soil test is required before the footing system for your Expandify home can be finalised. This determines the soil classification (e.g. H1, H2, P, E) and ensures compliance with NCC footing and engineering standards.
Options:
- Customers may supply their own soil report (must include bearing capacity and classification)
- Expandify can organise this testing as part of the Site Assessment process (additional fee applies if not pre-supplied)
Soil data is used to tailor the site-specific footing engineering included in your documentation pack.
