Expandify uses a clear and structured payment schedule to ensure transparency and ease of planning. The payment process is divided between Expandify (for the supply of the dwelling) and the licensed builder (for installation). These are invoiced and paid separately.
Expandify Payment Schedule – Complete Package
Your Complete Package supply is paid in four key stages:
30% Deposit at Contract Signing
This is the initial payment to secure your home in the next available manufacturing batch. It locks in your chosen model, base layout, and starts the production process.
30% Prior to International Dispatch
This payment is due once your dwelling is completed at the factory and ready to be shipped from our offshore facility. You’ll receive photos and updates before this stage is invoiced.
30% on Arrival to Australia Port
Once the home arrives at Australian Port (typically before clearing customs and local transport), this payment becomes due. You will be notified of delivery timing and given a progress update.
10% on Completion / Handover
This final payment is due once your home is fully installed and handover is complete. The builder and certifier will complete a joint walkthrough and issue all final documents before this is invoiced.
Each payment stage is clearly itemised in your Expandify quote, with automated reminders and updates shared via the customer portal.
Builder Payment Schedule – Complete Package
Licensed installation is organised through one of Expandify’s partner builders and follows its own invoicing structure:
5% Builder Deposit at Contract Signing
This is paid directly to the builder at the same time as your Expandify contract deposit. It secures your install slot and locks in your position in the build schedule.
45% at Port Arrival
Once your Expandify dwelling arrives at Australian Port (typically before clearing customs and local transport), this payment becomes due. It allows the builder to begin coordinating installation and on-site preparations.
50% on Completion / Handover
The final builder payment is due after the home has been successfully installed and certified. This coincides with Expandify’s final 10% payment.
Important Notes
All pricing is fixed after the Site Assessment and based on the confirmed site access, foundations, and layout. Your quote will clearly separate Expandify supply and builder installation costs.
Installation timelines may vary slightly based on site complexity, crane bookings, and council sign-off.
Payment reminders and milestone updates are managed via the Expandify customer portal, and your consultant is available at all times to guide you through each step.
