Yes — customers may choose to exclude the kitchen from their Expandify home, especially for non-residential or office-style layouts.
This is a common request for:
- Office or studio builds
- Meeting rooms or display suites
- Open-plan multi-use spaces
Removing the kitchen:
- Reduces the total cost of the home
- Requires layout confirmation to ensure plumbing zones are adjusted
- Must be confirmed before contract signing
This option is available in both DIY Kits and Complete Packages. A modified floor plan will be issued reflecting the kitchen exclusion.
Note: Removing the kitchen may impact the home’s classification for council approval. Our team can advise whether your local certifier will require the build to be treated as a Class 1a or Class 10a structure depending on intended use.
