No — installation of any Expandify home requires either:

A licensed builder, or

A customer holding an owner-builder permit approved by their state or local council

This applies to both DIY Kits and Complete Packages. Even if you have building experience, local laws require relevant licensing or permits for structural work.

Expandify provides all the necessary engineering documentation and manuals for the licensed person completing the install. We do not authorise installation by unlicensed individuals without a valid owner-builder licence.
