Generally, no — secondary dwellings like granny flats are not eligible for subdivision under most residential zoning laws.

Subdivision may be possible under:

Large lot dual occupancy DA applications

Council-supported subdivision policies for corner lots or rural zones

Formal rezoning or land title adjustment (complex and not CDC-eligible)

Expandify’s dwellings are installed under Class 1a rules and intended to remain on the same title as the primary dwelling. Subdivision requests must go through your local council and are not part of Expandify’s standard service.
