Yes — Expandify homes use a fully sealed, waterproof acrylic system for all bathroom wet areas. There is no traditional liquid membrane applied.

The floor is a custom-moulded, single-piece acrylic base designed specifically for Expandify homes, which ensures a seamless and water-tight finish without joins that could leak over time. This solution is factory-built to suit each model and significantly reduces the chance of water ingress compared to standard tiled systems.

The walls in the bathroom also use waterproof acrylic panels that are joined with certified water-sealed junctions. These systems meet Australian NCC and waterproofing standards and eliminate the need for tiles or membranes. It also makes the bathrooms easier to clean and reduces long-term maintenance.

This sealed waterproof system is installed during the manufacturing stage and is included as part of the Complete Package and DIY Kit.
