A minimum clearance of 4.5 metres is required from overhead powerlines to allow for crane delivery and lifting operations.

This applies to:

Any section of the block where the crane will operate

The access driveway or road

The final home placement area

If powerlines cross above the lifting zone or approach path, they may require temporary disconnection or an alternate delivery method. This is assessed during your Site Assessment and must be flagged early.
