Expandify homes are typically installed using a 25-tonne Franna crane, which requires:

3.5m wide clear access

4.5m overhead clearance

Maximum slope of 200mm per 5m

Standard crane reach of approx. 4m from the edge of the vehicle

If your site has obstructions (e.g. fences, trees, powerlines) or limited street frontage, larger cranes may be required.

In rare cases, Expandify has arranged:

300-tonne cranes with reach up to 42m

Lifts over houses and powerlines

Street closures for oversized setups

All crane needs are assessed during your Site Assessment. Additional crane hire and access costs are quoted separately if outside standard parameters.
