Crane hire is included in the price of a Complete Package as long as your site access meets standard conditions (e.g. within 100km of port, flat access, no major obstructions).
If a larger or specialised crane is needed due to access limitations — such as lifting over buildings, trees, or fences — this is assessed and quoted during the Prelim or Site Assessment stage.
Typical additional crane hire costs range from $2,000 to $10,000, depending on:
- Crane size (e.g. 25t or 100t units for long reach)
- Distance from staging area to site
- Obstruction complexity (trees, fencing, slope)
- Setup time and permits required
- Larger cranes over 100ton can be priced on a case by case basis and cost up to $30,000
All crane logistics are handled by Expandify’s install team. For DIY Kits, we provide crane hire, but crane arrival on site and use is organised by the customer.
Accurate cost estimates are given once the access review is complete.
