Overhead powerlines can affect your delivery and must be reviewed during the early planning stage.
If the crane needs to operate near or beneath powerlines, safety protocols and restrictions apply. In these cases, Expandify will:
- Review access pathways using survey data or the $5,000 Site Assessment
- Recommend a larger crane to lift over the powerlines if viable
- Advise whether a temporary disconnection or permit is required from the electricity authority
Powerlines located directly above the proposed install area or crane lift zone may trigger additional fees for alternate crane configurations or rescheduling with the local provider.
These situations are not common but are managed proactively during the planning phase. Customers are advised not to remove or alter powerlines themselves — all coordination is handled through licensed professionals and our installation team.
