Expandify homes require a minimum of 3.5 metres of clear access width for crane and truck delivery, with a stable and level approach to the installation area. This ensures safe and efficient transport of the folded building modules onto the site.
Minimum access requirements include:
- 3.5m wide clearance for crane and delivery truck access
- Level ground access or suitable hardstand to support heavy vehicle weight
- Minimum turning radius for truck navigation around the property (assessed during the Site Assessment)
- Sufficient height clearance for lifting and placing the building (minimum 4.5m clearance overhead)
If the required access is unavailable, alternate crane solutions may be proposed, such as a larger reach crane or specialised equipment. These options are reviewed during the quoting phase and may incur additional costs depending on complexity and access constraints.
All access requirements are reviewed and approved by Expandify's Installation Manager using survey and data as part of the Prelim or $5,000 Site Assessment process.
