Expandify homes require clear, level access to safely position the crane and delivery truck during installation.
Minimum crane access requirements include:
- 3.5 metres wide clearance on firm, level ground
- No overhanging trees, powerlines, or obstructions
- Crane setup area with firm ground support for a 25-tonne Franna crane
- Room to unload and unfold the dwelling, typically 3–5 metres clearance around the home
Access is confirmed during the Site Assessment phase, and any concerns are addressed with alternative equipment or adjustments. Sites with limited access may require upgraded lifting solutions at additional cost.
