Yes — Expandify homes can be installed on Class E and Class P soil types, but these conditions require engineering upgrades.
Soil classification and process:
- Soil type is determined by a geotechnical report, which can be supplied by the customer or requested during the Site Assessment
- Class E (highly reactive) and Class P (problematic/filled) sites require upgraded footing engineering to meet NCC compliance
Additional footing requirements:
- Standard footing kit is designed for H1 soil
- H2, E, and P classifications trigger an additional engineering review fee and footing upgrade
- These upgrades apply to both DIY Kits and Complete Packages
All foundation solutions are assessed case-by-case and finalised during your quoting stage or Site Assessment.
