Yes, customers can request to remove specific items to reduce the total contract price, but this must be done before the contract is finalised. Any removals must be confirmed in writing during the quoting process. Items eligible for removal typically include internal fittings such as the built-in TV unit, decorative timber-look wall finish, modwood decking, and even select internal cabinetry. However, core inclusions like the bathroom fit-out, laundry, kitchen base fixtures, and structural elements cannot be removed as they are integral to the construction and compliance of the home.
Please note:
- Removal of items does not result in a direct dollar-for-dollar deduction.
- Savings are based on manufacturing and material costs, not retail value.
- Once the contract is signed, changes cannot be made unless agreed to in writing by Expandify.
We recommend discussing these adjustments during the quoting stage to ensure you receive the most cost-effective configuration for your needs.
