Yes — the deck can be removed to reduce the overall cost of your Expandify home.
If you choose to remove the deck, both the Modwood decking and the patio roof section will be excluded from your build. This reduction is applied during quoting and is available for both the Complete Package and DIY Kit.
Removing the deck has no impact on the core structure of the home. However, the following still remain included:
- Factory-engineered steel frame base with adjustable stumps
- Stairs and handrails for safe access (finished in Modwood to match deck style)
- Finished entry point for both front and rear doorways
You can discuss this option during the quoting phase with your Expandify consultant, and the pricing will be clearly adjusted to reflect the change. Note that the deck cannot be partially removed — it is either included as a full 1.8m patio or removed entirely.
