- Expandify Knowledge Blogs
Expandify uses a batch manufacturing system, where a minimum of 6 homes are grouped into a production cycle. This approach allows us to streamline sourcing, engineering, and scheduling without compromising quality.
Batch grouping is based on:
- Customer contract sign date
- Engineering readiness
- Factory scheduling and port logistics
Key points:
- A new batch begins roughly every month, depending on order volume
- Customers lock into a batch once their contract and deposit are received
- Once a batch begins, all homes in that cycle follow the same production timeline
This system supports:
- Bulk sourcing of materials
- Predictable pricing
- Reduced delays compared to individual builds
