Expandify homes use a custom-engineered subfloor system designed for speed, adjustability, and structural integrity across a wide range of sites.
The standard subfloor system includes:
- A full steel frame base (factory-welded)
- Adjustable steel stumps using the BMSA footing system
- Built-in underfloor insulation (60mm)
- Pre-drilled access points for plumbing and electrical routing
This design eliminates the need for a concrete slab. It allows the home to sit at a minimum height of 400mm and up to 900mm as standard, which can be adjusted to suit natural ground slope.
For homes requiring additional clearance or complex terrain adjustment, engineering upgrades are available.
