Expandify homes are constructed using a fully engineered steel roofing system with an integrated 10-degree pitch, compliant with Australian NCC Class 1a standards.
Key features of our roof system include:
- High-grade steel panels manufactured in our offshore facility
- Insulated sandwich panel construction, integrating insulation into the roof cavity
- Concealed fixings and structural tie-downs, engineered for durability and wind compliance
- Certified for solar loads, allowing the future addition of solar panels (excluding patios)
The roof material is not Colorbond or standard tin — it is a proprietary steel panel system purpose-designed for Expandify’s folded delivery method. It arrives fully integrated into the structure and does not require additional roof cladding installation.
