Expandify homes are constructed using a lightweight, high-tensile steel frame system, designed and manufactured to meet Class 1a NCC certification.
Key characteristics:
- Galvanised steel frame with anti-corrosion treatment
- Precision-manufactured for Expandify’s folding and expansion system
- Integrated wall, floor, and roof frame system
- Factory-built and pre-assembled in a controlled environment
The frame is engineered to:
- Support roof loads (including solar panel installations)
- Withstand N2–N3 wind ratings (with upgrades available)
- Maintain structural integrity during folded transport and crane lifting
All frames are produced offshore in Expandify’s factory, under direct supervision of Expandify’s licensed Australian building team. These builds are fully inspected and signed off before shipping to ensure quality control, alignment with engineering, and compliance with Australian standards.
