Table of Contents
If your property is located within 100 km of a major capital city port, delivery and installation costs for your Expandify Complete Package are already included in your base quote — with no additional travel or delivery fees.
This makes the process faster, more predictable, and easier to budget from the outset.
What’s Included in Standard Delivery
Expandify homes are built offshore and delivered in folded format to your site. When you are within the 100 km radius of a supported port city, the following are included:
Transport of your home from port to site using low-loader trailers
1 container (Crest) or 2 containers (Peak) depending on model
Unloading coordination and positioning of containers ready for expansion
25T Franna crane hire for standard lift and placement
All of these elements are factored into your base price — you do not need to arrange your own transport or engage crane hire separately.
Installation Within Metro Zones
For most homes installed within 100 km of a port, Expandify assigns a local licensed builder for setup. This includes:
Expanding and locking the home into final position
Installation of modwood patio, stairs, and internal fit-out checks
Connection of prefitted internal plumbing and electrical systems to external services
Builder travel, labour, and basic site setup are also included within the quoted Complete Package — provided no complex access or slope issues are present.
Certification and Handover
If you are within the 100 km zone, certifier travel is included in your standard quote. This covers:
Final inspection of your home once installation is complete
Issuance of occupancy approval (CDC or DA based on your project)
There are no additional certification travel fees unless noted during your Site Assessment.
What’s Not Included (But May Apply)
While most metro installations are smooth, a few extra charges can still apply if identified during quoting:
Overlay-related reports: BAL, flood, or acoustic assessments
Non-standard crane access: If a 55T or 100T crane is required due to site conditions
Complex site access: Narrow driveways, overhanging powerlines, or slope correction
Long trenching: Utility connections over 10m are billed separately
These are rare within metro areas but are confirmed after your Prelim and Site Assessment.
Need Help Confirming If You’re Within the 100 km Zone?
If you're not sure whether your property is within the standard delivery zone, our team can check for you during your Prelim ($500).
This includes:
Distance calculation from the nearest capital city port
Review of access conditions
Confirmation of standard vs. custom delivery/installation
We recommend locking in your Prelim early so we can reserve your batch and provide fixed pricing.
